Valencia Basket closes the week visiting the Unicaja’s court

Valencia Basket ends the week with its third game in five days visiting the Unicaja’s court (Sunday 31, 6:30 p.m., Martín Carpena, #Vamos) less than 48 hours after the defeat suffered on the Panathinaikos OPAP Athens court and with the objective of improving their feelings to keep open a winning streak that is already of ten wins in a row in the Endesa League.

 

With hardly time to recover, the Taronja squad headed to Malaga this morning directly from Athens with the same expedition of twelve players that played yesterday in which Joan Sastre (muscle injury in the left thigh) and Guillem Vives (low back pain) are sidelined.

 

On his return to the Malaga court to play against Unicaja 609 days later, Jaume Ponsarnau's men will try to find some of the offensive accuracy that has been lacking this week (it is the only team that is among the top three in all the rankings of percentage of accuracy in the field goals in Liga Endesa) and break its negative streak against an opponent against whom has lost the last two times they have faced each other, including the first leg game that ended with a green victory by 66-71. The Valencian team begins this day 22 of the Endesa League in the sixth position of the tournament with a 14-6 in its standings.
